This puppet is inspired by mountain climbers from the famous “Lonely Goatherd” marionette scene in The Sound of Music. With bright eyes, a big beard, and a pickaxe in hand, this character brings charm and movement to every performance. The original marionettes were designed and made by an American master puppet master Bil Bair
Designed as a faithful tribute to the original Salzburg-style puppets, this marionette captures the joyful spirit and playful design of the scene. His articulated limbs and expertly balanced body allow for smooth, animated motion.

I loved this shop. The puppets are magnificent. Such exceptional craftsmanship! If you're looking for a gift of similar quality, you're sure to find what you're looking for.
The girl who helped us was absolutely lovely. She also explained that they ship, so we'll definitely be placing an order, as we don't have room for anything else in our suitcase. The shop is quite large for a puppet store, and it has a great variety: we found all kinds of puppets, as they specialize exclusively in them. The prices also seemed quite reasonable. In short, a highly recommended place if you're looking for a beautiful, high-quality puppet as a souvenir from Prague.
Absolutely wonderful, better than expected.. a very talented puppet creator. Very pleased
