Our marionette puppets are all handmade here in the Czech Republic. Czech Puppeteering is Unesco heritage and we all know why. UNIMA (the worldwide association of all puppeteers) was established in Prague, the unique PUPPET UNIVERSITY PRAGUE has generated many real professionals and the "Puppeteer" is the only magazine published around the world specializing in Puppets. We have decided to release our collection of historical originals for sale and subsequent support of the non-profit organization PUP (Institute of Czech Puppetry - Puppet Uni Prague, z.ú.).
Stories of antique marionettes are hidden inside them. They were all played in puppet theaters (nomadic or even stone). Antique marionettes represent a great piece of history that you can now have at home. All antique marionettes in this category are handmade in the traditional way and are in working order. Most of them date from the beginning of the 20th century and their birthplace is the Czech Republic. Their value is historical, artistic, and collectible.
You can either have your new marionette sent home or lend it to the upcoming PUP museum.
